What Will My Doodle Look Like?
Since Goldendoodles are hybrids, doodles can look very different from each other. They can have anywhere from tight curly coats to extremely relaxed coats and everything in-between. Before a litter is born, there is no way for us to tell you if there will be a puppy in that litter with the coat you are looking for. Even puppies in the same litter as each other can look extremely different. However, because we have seen a good many doodle pups in our time, once they get to a certain age we can give you an idea of what the pup will look like as an adult. The picutes below will also help guide you in the right direction of picking your puppy based on what he/she looks like now and what you are looking for in an adult.
Gibson
Below is Gibson, a medium goldendoodle, over a span of one year
Gibson as a newborn

Here is Gibson's litter when he is only a few days old. As you can see, all of the puppies have very straight hair. Like human babies, how their hair looks will change as they get older. At this age, it is nearly impossible to tell what they will look like as adult because they all look identical.
Gibson at 3-4 weeks old

At this age, doodles will start to develop slight waves and are just learning to open their eyes. They may be able to move around a little but aren't used to walking around. The shapes of their heads and noses will start to become more prominent.
Gibson at 6 weeks old

As you can see, a couple of weeks can make a huge difference! Now, coat types really start to stand out and personalities really start to show through. Puppies at this age are still really young and the world is still a very new place for them. Just because a puppy at this age may seem a little reserved, does not mean that is how they be when they are older.
Much like human kids, your puppy's personality will be in how you choose to raise them. If you lead a very active lifestyle (especially if your pup is around kids), your puppy will grow to enjoy this and be active themselves. If you lead a more calm lifestyle, then your puppy will adapt to this as well, learning to enjoy the comforts of being a lapdog. Though it is important to choose a puppy that speaks to you and that you feel drawn to, make sure you realize that puppies are not born with set personalities of how they will be as adults. A lot is up to you as future parents to help cultivate their lifestyles.
Gibson at 11 weeks old

At lot has changed in 11 weeks! You will be getting your puppy when he/she is 8 weeks so they will be a little less defined and not as big as Gibson is at this point in time. At this point, this is very close to what your pup will look like as an adult.
Gibson at 1 Year

Gibson is finally full grown! So much has changed from day one. He is completley developed with a long, wavy relaxed coat. As you can see, he stayed very similar in color as he was when he was 3 weeks old. If you want a look like Gibson's, look for a pup with slight fluffy waves at around 6 weeks old.
Tifa
Below is Tifa, a medium goldendoodle, over a span of 6 Months
Tifa at 3 weeks old

Here is Tifa at 3 weeks old. As you can see, she has little to no definition. A puppy that shows curls at this age will most likely have very defined curls as an adult.
As it is, however, Tifa has very straight, almost golden retriever like hair at this age.
Tifa at 5 weeks old

At this point in time you can really start to tell what she will look like as an adult. There are small tuff of waves on her ears, around her eyes, and on her nose. Again, these can be hard to notice details so if you need help, feel free to ask us.
When she was this age she seemed a little nervous and timid, but as mentioned before this is very normal at this age.
Tifa at 6-7 weeks old

At this point, Tifa has gained more structure in her head and chest, ultimately telling us  that her structure as an adult will look very much like that of a golden retriever while the soft minute waves on her chest and face means she will have a long, flowing wavy coat.
Her personality has become very defined as she transformed from slightly shy to playful and full of energy in the matter of 2 weeks.

Tifa at 10-11 weeks old

As you can see at this point Tifa has really developed a beautiful coat with a teddy-bear face.
At this point in time, she has been house-trained, leash-trained, crate-trained, and obedience-trained and gets along wonderfully with other pets and kids. She absoluetly adores other people and is very quick to catch on to her training.
Tifa at 6 Months

At this age, Tifa is nearly completely full grown and looks like she will as an adult. She is incredibly sweet, playful, and well socialized.
